Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy
It is the policy of Compass Group USA, Inc., and its affiliated companies (the “Company”) to provide a work environment for all of its associates that is free from discrimination and harassment based on sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, color, disability, age, pregnancy, national origin, veteran status, or any other unlawful factor. To this end, the Company will comply with and strictly enforce federal, state and local laws that prohibit discrimination or harassment based on sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, color, disability, age, pregnancy, national origin, veteran status or any other unlawful factor. Associates who by act or omission discriminate against or harass any associate based upon such classifications shall be subject to disciplinary action, which may include discharge from employment.
Code of Ethics
Our global Code of Ethics sets out our social, ethical and environmental commitments towards each of our stakeholders, including our people, customers, investors, suppliers and the wider community in which we operate. All allegations of breaches of this Code are investigated and the Compass takes a zero tolerance approach to proven breaches.
Workplace Culture
Add the following statement to the last sentence of the current paragraph: Our diversity strategy has been developed to attract, retain, and develop a workforce filled with associates from a variety of backgrounds and enable them to reach their full potential. Also, we engage our associates in order to ensure a more positive and inclusive work environment while monitoring our performance in order to leverage diversity and inclusion and improve our bottom line.
