Developing Great People

Through employee forums, associates can connect with colleagues who share similar interests and backgrounds. In those forums and elsewhere, associates support each other's personal and professional growth and enhance their individual and collective ability to contribute to the company. Currently active forums include:
Associate Resource Groups
Our associate resource groups are built around a common characteristic or interest that enhances associate engagement. These groups provide opportunities for networking and foster feelings of inclusion and help to support the development of our great people.
Compass Group's Women’s Leadership Network Advancing Compass Group’s ability to attract, develop and retain women at all levels by providing real opportunities to learn and grow, creating a competitive business advantage and making a positive impact in our industry.
Women’s Leadership Network Objectives:
• Create networking and educational opportunities for women in Compass to increase organizational awareness and expand internal and external spheres of influence.
• Leverage the talents, collective experience and knowledge of women throughout the company to support their personal and professional growth
• Develop and reinforce leadership skills, confidence and presence, including communicating with authority and credibility
• Recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of women in Compass Group
• Support and sustain women already in senior management roles
• Involve senior leadership and increase awareness of the strategic benefits women bring to the organization
• Identify career pathways into senior management, including C-level and corporate board director roles
Diversity Councils
Diversity Councils are internal organization structures that are chartered entities of Compass Group. They ensure that the diversity management process is an integrated process characterized by:
• Strategic thinking and planning assessment
• Changes in culture, systems and practices
• Education & training
The intent is to address diversity in ways that allow our organization to achieve and sustain a competitive advantage.
