Medical

Choice is one of the key components of Compass Group's Benefits program.  Part of our commitment to providing choice comes with the offering of three different medical plan options. Prescription coverage is administered by Express Scripts and is included in each medical plan at no additional cost.

Value Choice Plan
• Basic, limited coverage
• Great for those who might otherwise decline coverage
• Most cost-effective
• Preventive care is covered at 100%, up to $300 for each covered dependent

Consumer Choice PPO Plan
• Offers different levels of coverage in and out-of-network
• Annual deductible
• Most flexible plan offered with out-of-network coverage included
• Provides a Health Reimbursement Account - HRA ($500 Associate only, $1,000 Associate plus one dependent or $1,500 for Associate plus two or more dependents)
• Preventive care is covered at 100%, up to $500 for each covered dependent

Network Choice Plan
• Offers extensive coverage for in-network providers
• No annual deductible
• Requires increased Associate contributions because it provides the highest level of coverage
• Preventive care is covered at 100

 

Dental

Under the Compass Group dental program, you may choose from the following dental coverage options:

• The Cigna PPO Dental Plan
• The Cigna Managed Care Dental Plan

Vision

In addition to the medical and dental plans, you have two options for vision coverage. Vision Service Plan (VSP), the nation’s largest provider of eye care benefits, administers our vision coverage. VSP has a nationwide network of more than 20,000 doctors in rural and metropolitan locations to help with your vision needs. The level of coverage for other services depends upon the option you elect:

• The VSP Comprehensive Plan
• The VSP
Exam Plus Plan


Wellness

Most people rely on company-provided benefits only in the case of illness or injury. We want you to use benefits when you aren’t feeling well – but also to keep you healthy. Our goals are for you to get healthy and to stay healthy – and for us to provide resources so staying healthy is easier for you.

In our medical, dental and vision plans, you’ll see preventive care (like annual checkups, physicals, mammograms, certain cancer screenings, etc.) is covered at 100% with co-pays waived for you and your covered dependents.  Also, each non-exempt associate will receive three hours paid time off from work to receive an annual exam, cancer screening, etc. To qualify for the time off, you must be a non-exempt associate and have been employed by Compass Group for one year. This time off cannot be used for dependent preventive care.
